WOW! Do I have an amazing new restaurant in our area to tell you about. Issy's Cafe is brand new to Somerville, TN. As many people know there are not many restaurant choices in the Somerville area so it is great to see Issy's come to town.
Monday night I went to my cousins graduation at Fayette Academy and afterwards we were trying to decide where to go for dinner. After remembering a few restaurants were closed on Monday's, someone mentioned Issy's Cafe who just had their grand opening the same day.
My first impression of the restaurant when we walked in was, feeling like we were at home. Several booths had personal TV's for when you really don't want to miss your favorite show or sports game but just don't feel like cooking. There is also a large game area for the kids to play while you wait on food or a nice treat when they finish their meal. Plus, the staff was super nice especially with us walking in 15 minutes before close time. They even gave my cousin for graduation an order of their fried Raspberry cheesecake which was wonderful.
Their menu offers sandwiches, entrees, kids meals, salads & soups and appetizers.
We were told right now, they are seeing what items customers love and what they would like to see. So get in try it out and leave your review.
I had the Somerville Turkey (pictured above) served with mild cheddar & Boom-Boom sauce on a pretzel bun. It was so good I had to leave some for later. My parents had The Reuben which they said it is now their favorite Reuben they have ever had.
