Come join this special event and bring your entire family on March 30th & 31st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Memphis City Schools Board of Education. This event is free to the public!
ArtsFest is designed to celebrate student achievement in the arts, engage the community in supporting students and teachers, and highlight the power of arts education. ArtsFest 2012 features over 600 exemplary student works of visual art and over 50 live performances in theatre, dance, orff, band, choir, and orchestra.
ArtsFest 2012 is dedicated to honor the memory of Lisa D. Cash, Wife of Superintendent Kriner Cash, and a career art educator.
There will be food vendors, arts projects for kids, and over 35 local professional arts agencies on site to meet and greet.
We invite you to a special closing performance Saturday, March 31st at 7:00 p.m. at the Cannon Center. This closing concert will feature a city-wide orchestra, choir and the world premiere of an MCS student composition.
