Choccreate Review and Giveaway

The three things I love the most is coffee, chocolate and cheese and I am super picky about the quality and taste of all three! So I was a little nervous when I accepted to do a Review of Choccreate since I lived in the chocolate capital of the world (Switzerland for 5 years) and I have extremely, un-realistic and high standards for chocolate. I am so pleased to say that I LOVED this chocolate! First the whole experience of it was a blast! My husband and I had so much fun navigating through their very easy to use choccreate web-site and choosing our favorite toppings. They offering 90 + ingredients and after you order, it ships to you within 5 days! I loved the box and packaging that it arrived in, it has a complete gourmet feel and I loved that my chocolate was double wrapped to keep it fresh!
So how exactly does Choccreate work?
First you choose your 3.5 oz bar, either dark chocolate, white chocolate or milk chocolate.
Then for toppings here are the categories:
Fruits: (From Apricots-Whole Cranberries they have a huge selection)
Nuts & Cereal: A huge selection of nuts
Gourmet: unique toppings like 23 karat gold powder, mimosa flowers etc.
Extra & More: My favorite category, they have everything, gold fish, bacon bits, cheez its, pretzels, tortilla chips etc.
Decorations: Sprinkles, pair of blue baby feet, pair of pink baby feet, mini red lips, 2 wedding rings etc.
Herbs & Spices: Aleppo Pepper, Crushed red peppers, curry powder etc.

This is what we each chose:
  • I selected a dark chocolate bar with espresso and raw skinned hazelnuts: (my favorite) the espresso was not over powering and the flavor was perfect. The nuts were delicious and and the proportion was perfect.
  • My husband chose a white chocolate bar with dried blueberries, and dried cranberries
  • We created a milk chocolate bar with sprinkles and M & M's for our girls to share. And for the 4th bar we decided to pick a surprise bar, which we were delighted to receive a dark chocolate, sugar dice, sugar tree, dried cherries, raisins.
This would be a great gift to celebrate that special moment in your life, or just because, and of course with Valentines Day coming next month this is a site you definitely want to book mark it, or make your order now, as Choccreate is offering a 20% discount to Memphis Mommy readers when they use this code memphismom when you check out!

Wow! Sounds so yummy! I think I would make a bar with dark chocolate, banana chips, & espresso with a palm tree on top. I want to think about warm things on such a cold day! :) S Todd
