Babies are expensive you don’t realize how expensive until you are pregnant or after you have one! Here are a few tips to help you save on your bundle of joy!
Diapers:
You can save money by registering for Pampers.com, Huggies.com or Luvs.com. Every diaper you can imagine has a website and they will send you coupons by mail and often have free samples available.
You can also register for Pampers Gifts to Grow and Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards Program. Each program gives you the ability to enter codes from your Diaper and Wipes containers and trade in your points for sweepstakes entries and rewards of your choice.
Each week I will highlight the best deals on Diapers so make sure that you subscribe so you don’t miss out on any deals that will help you save more on diapers!
Formula:
Of course if you can breast feed it is the most inexpensive choice but the realization is that not everyone can breast feed.
If you decide to formula feed here are some great ideas for you!
First sign up for samples and coupons of the brands you are going to use: Enfamil.com, Similac.com and Nestle Good Start seem to be the most popular choices. Nestle Good Start offers a Money Back Guarantee!
Plus ask your Pediatrician for samples and coupons. Many times you will find rebates and high value coupons for formula, diaper cream, medication and more in your physicians office.
Websites:
Freepeats.org
Make sure that you check to see if there is a group in your city there are more than 50 groups across the country!
Freepeats is a lot like Freecycle but just for babies you will also want to check into Freecycle for more free items in your city!
Craigslist.com
Here are a few of the free items available this week on Craigslist! When you get to the page just look for the link that says free to find out what is available in your area.
eBay.com
Many of my baby items were purchased on eBay for example you can spend up to $600 furnishing a room with Pottery Barn bedding on eBay you can get a discontinued set for less then $100! Here is a great example of what you will find on eBay.com!
Amazon.com
Amazon is an amazing place to find great deals! I found a Radio Flyer Sport Coupe for $27! But you can find deals daily and I highlight the best deals that I can find on My South Central Texas Mommy!
