The Sound of Music is celebrating it 45th anniversary, wow! To celebrate this it will be back on the big screen in 500 cinemas nation-wide for a wonderful sing-along event! And yes the charming Paradiso cinema in Memphis will be participating! I shouldn't admit this but I will, somehow I have lived my whole life without seeing this musical, it is one of my husbands favorites and he plays the c.d. to our girls all the time (who haven't seen the film yet either). We will be going on the 19th to see it and I am really looking forward to it. A lucky Memphis Mommy reader will win 2 tickets to go and see this on 26th at the Paradiso Theatre in Memphis.

There is not a song I don't love, and think my girls would love to go to the sing along. My personal favorite is My favorite things, or at least it's the one I end up singing days after I've watched SOM. Thanks for the great giveaway.

Don't be embarrassed to admit you've never seen it...because neither have I!!!! I have always wanted to but for some reason, just never have. I would LOVE to take my kiddos to see it! I do know some of the songs from the movie, however, and Do-Re-Mi is definitely an old favorite :) I rememeber this one from grade school!!
I LOVE this movie!! I always have. I am pretty sure I can sing the whole thing. My favorite songs are "My Favorite Things" and "The Hills Are Alive." I have done the twirling and singing to "The Hills Are Alive" in the middle of grassy fields before. I just love it!
