Country Crock Butter Giveaway

Links provided in this post may be from affiliate programs which earns My Memphis Mommy a small commission. Thanks for clicking!

Country Crock did a survey on children and healthy eating! I (Shana) have to say this is a very easy review for me to do as Country Crock is the only butter in a tub that we use. So I was thrilled to get to try their butter that is Trans Fat Free. My kids gobbled it up just as they do the "regular" Country Crock, they did not seem to miss the Trans Fat one bit! ;0)

And I discovered they have a really fun web-site for kids. And of course check out Country Crock web-site which has a $.40 coupon you can print right now.

I found some of the survey result info they sent me interesting and wanted to pass it along to Memphis Mommy Readers.

Getting kids to eat healthily is a challenge for most families and 90% of parents are concerned about their children understanding the importance of healthy diet and exercise, according to a new survey. The survey, by Country Crock, which has removed all trans fat from its soft spreads, also found just 11% of parents say their families eat healthfully enough. Other findings:

  • 69% of parents who want their families to eat a lot more healthy say they read nutrition labels and 86% are concerned about the amount of trans fat in their family’s food
  • More than half of the concerned parents (51%) say that the rising cost of healthy food choices is a deterrent for purchasing better options for their family
  • Picky eaters are a major hurdle among parents who are concerned about their children understanding the importance of healthy diet and exercise; nearly half (49%) find it challenging to get their kids to try new foods due to limited preferences
  • Outside pressures on children that encourage unhealthy eating (32%), and the negative influence of advertising and marketing of unhealthy foods (34%) add additional challenges for concerned parents to win the battle to serve better food options
Country Crock will send one Memphis Mommy reader a Trans Fat Free Tub of butter. How to enter? Simply make a comment on this post! Either share what you like to spread Country Crock on the most, or a comment on the challenge of getting kids to eat healthy.

Yes, Country Crock did provide Shana with a free product and yes these thoughts and opinion are entirely hers.

I think any little thing that will help children eat healthier is wonderful. I know I do not buy anything anymore that has trans fats in it. I think this is a great thing that Country Crock has come out with trans fat free butter. I will have to try it out!

I love Country Crock. I just used it this morning when I made breakfast for my family. I made stacks of hot pancakes with; of course, Country Crock slathered all over them. My husband said for me to make sure I put plenty of Country Crock on his, which I did!

This is the only brand that we use. We love to use it on hot cornmeal muffins so it will melt the Country Crock.
