How does Buy One Get One Free BOGO work?
The store has an item on sale for Buy one Get one Free, this means they have already decided to give you a free product when you purchase a product.You can pay for this other item with a credit card, check or cash or my favorite currency the COUPON. You pay tax on both items as you have paid for them. I like to put all of my BOGO coupons in a small envelope labeled BOGO and wait for stores to put these items on BOGO sale. This works at all stores unless stated otherwise on the sale item or the coupon itself. Does this information surprise you? Well it may surprise your cashier too, in some instances I have had to explain this to a store clerk and they are usually very excited to learn about this (and get to take advantage of the deal later for themselves).
