One of my readers Sarah sent this to me and I wanted to share with you the savings on coupons. She could not remember where she got some of the coupons and I couldn't find them...sorry!

On another note: I really encourage all of you to bring the store's coupon policy with you. If you meet up with resistance, don't lose it, just step out of line and, if needed, come back later armed with the policy. Yesterday I tried to explain to a really nice front end person at Kroger that they DO accept BOGO printable coupons. they do not accept FREE. He tried and tried to tell me that was one and the same. I did not have the policy with me but went back with it today and showed it to him. He was very confused and said he would have to verify. My coupons were accepted - but I was very sweet and calm which helped. Of course, this was all of $3.37 but I had to make the point so that they would be accepting in the future.

I also strongly urge everyone to be sure not to clip the teeny tiny printing off the edge of their coupons.com or other coupons. The manager told me that is one way they verify the coupon - the others were the code imprinted under the offer (it turns black on a copied), the presence of barcodes and other info on the face of the coupon.
