I think most of you visiting my site have a true understanding of how the "true" couponing works! Hope you don't mind me sharing a story with you. My husband left for San Antonio, TX and before he left his Fusion Razor broke and we didn't have time to go pick up one. I sent him with a "How To" list and coupons. He calls me tonight and is SO proud of himself and tells me what he did.

His Scenario:
HEB Grocery Store
Fusion Razor $8.99, used 11/29 PG Save $4.00
Gillette Shaving Cream $2.99 used 11/29 PG Save $1.00
Hair Gel $1.99
Final Price, $8.97

Scenario I wrote for him:
Walgreens
Fusion Razor $8.99, use 11/29 PG Save $4.00, get $4.00 RR
Gillette Shaving Cream FREE, use 11/29 PG Save $1.00
Final Price, $3.99 and $4.00 RR back

Then get Hair Gel and whatever else he wants that would total $4.00
Final Price, FREE

He told me they didn't have a Walgreens and I said, "that's funny there is one on every corner"
So then he needs bread and guess where he goes...the Walgreens on the corner next to his hotel.

Although, I'm proud that he did use the coupons b/c it was on products that we use...it could have been done for FREE. So, if you don't understand the real meaning behind savings, couponing and cutting that household budget in half...make sure that you email me or read Couponing 101!

After all that's why I'm here!

LOL, every time I give my husband a "scenario" he complains, "This will never work." over and over. He freaks out while at the store, scare some cashier will crack the whip on him. And then, finally he has to come home and tell me all went well :) He doesn't learn that when it comes to coupons "I know all." Or at least, I'd like to think I do.
