Ok so the kids are home again and starting to have a little cabin fever, now what!? Here's a few ideas for you to help navigate the next 24-48 hours and spend some great family time.

How about one of these fun activities.

Make Snow Day Pancakes - regular pancakes with Powdered Sugar on top (want to be even more creative - lay a doily on top and sprinkle powdered sugar over the top then remove and check out the awesome pattern).

Blanket forts! Need I say more??

Board game tournaments! Have everyone pick their favorite games and whoever wins gets to pick the next game!

Start a new Snow Day Tradition - bake something together, watch movies (and check out this adorable little craft to have your own Drive In Movie *Pictured), make hot cocoa.

What about an indoor picnic for lunch. Pack a picnic basket just like a real picnic. Spread your blanket out and enjoy!

Have you ever made edible snowflakes- fold tortilla shells into quarters. Use scissors to cut shapes (just like the paper kind). Unfold to reveal your snowflake shape and lay them on a cookie sheet. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar and bake at 350 degrees until crispy.YUM

Play in the snow (if you received snow in your area)! Give the kids spray bottles filled with a water/food coloring mixture and let them paint the snow. Build a fort out of snow bricks made with Tupperware containers. Build a snowman. Ok, so this may be a tomorrow activity as it is so wet you could be absolutely soaked in under 10 minutes.

Gather the snow into buckets or plastic tubs and bring it inside. Get out the kitchen utensils, cups, cookie cutters, and let the littler ones play in the snow inside.

•And of course, I scream, you scream, we all scream for snow cream! Snow ice cream- recipe here, thanks Paula Deen!

DIY laser maze

Magnet fishing: Using Magnet letters in a bucket and a paper clip on string.

•Check out the other great pins I found on Pinterest!
