One of my favorite tech brands for kids is LeapFrog. LeapFrog offers so many great learning toys & games. My new favorite LeapFrog product for 2014 is the LeapPad3.

LeapPad3 is a fast, high-performance, fun-packed Wi-Fi tablet that allows kids to learn and play in a way that's just right for them. Compact and kid-tough, the LeapPad3 tablet provides access to a 100% kid-perfect web experience and access to a library of 1,000+ age-appropriate, educator approved games, apps, eBooks, videos and more. LeapPad3 features LeapFrog's new quad-core chip and a sleek and beautiful design, for fast-action fun kids will love.

Thanks to LeapFrog, we received a new LeapPad3 to try which came in handy on our 7 hour road trip to the beach recently. We also received a few games to try which included: Octonauts!, Hello Kitty: Sweet Little Shops, Disney's Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Disney's Sofia the First, and LeapFrog's Get Ready for Kindergarten game pack.

Having a very active 3-year old, I am always looking for new things to keep her occupied for more than 2 minutes at a time and something other than watching tv. I was amazed at how quick she grasped onto the new LeapPad3 and was loving it. There were a few times I had to help her, but for the most part, she was able to follow along with the easy instructions LeapFrog provides.

She loved how she was able to interact with her favorite characters and even better, they were teaching her new things. We love how each cartridge focuses on certain subjects such as Science, Math, Reading & more. Plus, each cartridge is rated for certain ages to be able to grow with your child.

The other great features the LeapPad3 offers is more than 1 avatar can be made which is great for sharing with siblings or friends and it can be used with wireless internet for even more learning experiences.

With the new LeapPad3, there are also no batteries to replace which is AWESOME. The battery will last about 6 hours and can be charged with a usb. This is great for us considering out car has a usb port in it! We didn't have to worry about stopping to charge.

This is already on several Hot Toy lists for this year and on a lot of kids wish lists. Plus, now through November, 10th, Save up to $25 off exclusive bundles or Save 25% off orders of $20+. Use code: COUNTDOWN. Exclusions apply.
