About note NYX Cosmetics: My daughter, Brooke, says NYX is like the inexpensive version of MAC Cosmetics in terms of pigment. Pigment is the amount of color in the makeup... the more pigment a cosmetic has, the richer the color looks... in otherwords, a high pigmented red eyeshadow will go on your eye looking like the color red; a low pigmented red eyeshadow will go on looking like a light red or possibly a pinkish hue.

Kids Summer Film Fest @ Malco - $2 Tickets

2. Instant Rewards: When you launch the shopkick app on your phone it will pull up a bunch of stores that are close to you. As you look through the list, if there is a star by the store name that means there is an instant reward for you. Instant rewards are usually 1 free kick… sometimes it is a bonus piece, and if you collect all 3 of that category you get 10 free kicks.

3. Scan Kicks: Your app will tell you if the store you are in is offering scan kicks. Today at Target I simply used my cell phone to scan the barcode of a bottle of Purex and I instantly got 20 free kicks for doing so!

4. Kicks for purchases: Sometimes stores will offer you kicks when you purchase certain items. I never buy anything to get the kicks… but if I planned on buying something that happens to get bonus kicks then I make sure I do get my kicks J

5. Invite friends: Shopkick gives you kicks for each friend you invite, who accepts your invitation. The amount is usually 50 kicks per accepted invite, but sometimes they run promotions like "invite 3 people & get 2000 kicks when they accept".

I am getting ready for my daughter's Curious George 1st birthday party. I found this idea and thought it would be a great idea for the plates and cups of the party. Since my husband is an electrician, I have plenty of electrical tape laying around the house.
