O-M-W!! (Oh My Word, since I do not useOMG).  I am SO DROOLING!  Check out this AMAZING recipe from Betty Crocker!

Salted Dulce de Leche Swirl Brownies

Dulce de Leche
1  can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1  teaspoon table salt
Brownies
1  box (l lb 1 oz) Betty Crocker® dark chocolate brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
Topping
6 oz dark baking chocolate, chopped
Coarse sea salt

Remove label from can of condensed milk; place can in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Fill saucepan with water until can is completely immersed. Cover; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 3 hours. Important: Make sure can is covered with water during the entire cooking process. Cool can completely before opening. Open cooled can; pour dulce de leche into small bowl. Stir in table salt; set aside.

Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray; line pan with cooking parchment paper.

Make brownie mix as directed on box, using water, oil and eggs. Spread half of the brownie batter in pan. Top with one-third of the salted dulce de leche. With butter knife, swirl dulce de leche into batter. Carefully spread remaining brownie batter on top. Top with remaining two-thirds salted dulce del leche; swirl into batter.

Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean (with a few moist crumbs). Cool completely.

In small microwavable bowl, microwave dark chocolate uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth.

Cut brownies into 3 rows by 3 rows. Top with melted dark chocolate and generous sprinkle of sea salt. Refrigerate until chocolate is set, about 15 minutes.

My and Brian's paintings - half finished, side by side

I mentioned on Facebook last Saturday that my husband and I were invited to go to Pinot's Palette.  We had an AMAZING time!  You bring any drinks you want (beer, wine, etc) and an instructor leads you through painting a replica of a famous piece of art.  We did "Love from Paris".  It was too fun!  Brian and I shared a lot of laughs, and he even paid to have his painting framed.  He took his painting to work, and everyone there loved it!  In fact, I'm pretty sure there will be at least one visit from his Service Master team to Pinot's Palette :)

Tomorrow, Saturday June 16th is owner, Kristi's, birthday party- so it would be a GREAT night to go!

Here is other information about Pinot's Palette that you will want to know:

I was given a free night out for this review, but the opinions are 100% my own!

Since the time I posted my review, Jessica has also been able to attend a paiting soiree at Pinot's Palette.  This is what she had to say about it:

I (Jessica) have always wanted to go to a painting session with friends but never really had the chance to. Last Thursday the 14th I finally had the chance to go and try out a new place called Pinot’s Palette when my cousin came in town. I was excited to have a girl’s night out and to try something new. However, I was a little scared at first since I can barely draw a stick figure. As soon as I got there it was just a relaxing and fun environment to be in. You are allowed to bring your own wine or beer if you want to and they provide ice buckets for wine and wine glasses. After you have a little socialization time, you get to wear an apron and sit in front of a blank canvas and listen to the instructor. My favorite part is that they go step by step through the painting so it is ok if you get behind as they walk around helping you out as well. I never knew how relaxing painting could be until being there and seeing what I was putting on the canvas was actually starting to look pretty good. I kept asking myself if it was going to turn out well enough for my husband to like it and to let me hang it. As soon as I got home, I was so proud to show him my painting and he was actually amazed at what I did. It made me feel so good to hear that I could actually paint something good other than a stick figure. I would highly recommend Pinot’s Palette to everyone I can and to not worry if you can’t draw because they will bring out the inner painter in every single person no matter if you have ever picked up a paint brush before or not.

I was given a free painting session for this review, the opinions are 100% mine!
