Recipe of the Day: Boston Cream Pie... Made Over

Beantown is famous for this classic combination of rich chocolate and creamy filling. This made-over version is airier, more delicate and lower in fat than the original.  This marvelous recipe comes from Kraft Foods.  Enjoy!

1 pkg. (1.0 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Fat Free Sugar Free Instant Pudding

1-1/2 cups  cold fat-free milk

1 cup thawed COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping, divided

1  prepared round angel food cake (10 oz.), cut horizontally into 3 layers

1 square BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped

BEAT pudding mix and milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in 1/2 cup COOL WHIP.
STACK cake layers on serving plate, spreading pudding mixture between layers.
MICROWAVE chocolate and remaining COOL WHIP in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 sec.; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Spoon over cake. Refrigerate 1 hour, or up until 4 hours, removing from refrigerator 30 min. before serving.

FREE Family Tree Maker - Family Echo

Dawn's Family Tree... So Far :)

I (Dawn) really enjoy researching my genealogy.  I began keeping all of the family history and fact in an Excel worksheet, but I really wanted something that looked like a traditional tree.  The problem was that I had discovered too many relatives to write it out on paper.  It did not take me long to discover Family Echo, a FREE Family Tree tool.  You can use Family Echo to record:

• Names (first, last, maiden)
• Date of birth & death
• Gender
• Relation to you
• Birth Place
• Profession/Company
• Interests/Activities
• Bio Notes
• Living relatives contact information

My favorite feature of Family Echo is that once I compiled all of our family information, I was able to give my dad and other family members access to view it (you can also give them access to change information, but I do not recommend that).  If you'd like to create a family tree click here to use Family Echo for free!
