About My Memphis Mommy

Welcome! My name is Jessica and I have been writing for My Memphis Mommy since March 2012.

I am a full time stay-at-home mommy to my busy 2 1/2 year old daughter. Recently, I decided to go back to school and finish my degree. Hopefully, I will be able to finish and graduate by Spring 2015.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I started couponing as a hobby since I had decided to stop working. My hobby would soon turn into a resource in helping other families save as I had helped mine! I loved that I was able to stay at home with my daughter after she was born and thought others might, too!

Keeping the site filled with great deals, coupons, events & much more can be a huge task. I am so greatful to be a part of the My City Mommy network. We have over 30 different cities throughout the U.S., so be sure to see if there is a city mommy near you.

A little history behind My Memphis Mommy:

My Memphis Mommy was founded by Amy Harvey in May 2009. She now resides in Nashville, TN and runs My Music City Mommy, so check that out ;0)

After Amy moved, Shana Moland started helping with My Memphis Mommy in January of 2010 and officially took the site as owner in January 2011. Shana taught many coupon workshops and grew the My Memphis Mommy site into what it is today. In July of 2012, Shana and her family moved to Washington DC.
