About note NYX Cosmetics: My daughter, Brooke, says NYX is like the inexpensive version of MAC Cosmetics in terms of pigment. Pigment is the amount of color in the makeup... the more pigment a cosmetic has, the richer the color looks... in otherwords, a high pigmented red eyeshadow will go on your eye looking like the color red; a low pigmented red eyeshadow will go on looking like a light red or possibly a pinkish hue.
