Memphis Library Summer Reading Program 2012

Read this summer at your public library. We'll have fun, prizes, and best of all - lots of books to read!
Children ages 11 and under are invited to participate.

Prizes

The Branch Level Winner drawn from entries at your library branch will be our guest at the Summer Reading Club Branch Winners’ Event at the Incredible Pizza Company. This prize includes a voucher for a FREE children’s buffet and drink, and a game card for the winner and another young guest.
The Library System Level Winner drawn from all entries will receive a Kindle Fire!

1. Sign up - Come in to any branch to sign up and get your log. You can also download and print out the Summer Reading Club Log. Requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
2. Read - You may read or listen to any book, magazine, newspaper, e-book, comic book or audiobook.
3. Keep Track - Write down the number of books/hours that you read or listened to in the square on your log. Check in at the library once a week to get your log stamped.
4. Prizes - For every 10 books/ hours you read, you'll put an entry in the prize drawing.
   After you've read for four weeks, you'll get a book to keep.
   After you've read for six weeks, you'll get a string backpack.
5. More Prizes - In the middle of the summer, you'll be in a drawing for a video rental, popcorn, and a liter of soft drink.
6. More Fun - The more your read, the more you win! Every 10 books/hours you read = an entry into the drawing for an End of Summer Reading Club Prize.
