Tomorrow is National Train Day! Locally, you can celebrate National Train Day at the grand opening celebration for the Memphis Railroad and Trolley Museum. The museum holds exhibits that tell the historical story of railroads in Memphis through the display of artifacts, photos and models.
The public is invited to the Grand Opening of the Memphis Railroad & Trolley Museum 9am to 5pm, Saturday, May 12, 2012. Admission is FREE. There will be refreshments, and at 1pm a ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries.
Regular hours are 9am-to 5pm, Fridays and Saturdays, and Sundays 12noon to 5pm. Other times are by appointment.
The Memphis Railroad & Trolley Museum is located in Central Station at 545 S. Main St., Ste. 121, Memphis, TN, 38103.
