FOX13 News has a really FUN opportunity available for kids ages 7-12 who are interested in weather: a chance to forecast the weather on the news!! Here are the details from FOX13's website:
Every Wednesday, FOX13 Chief Meteorologist Joey Sulipeck will welcome an aspiring weather forecaster to FOX13 News to be a KidsCaster on live TV!
If you're a kid between 7-12 years old, create a 30 second to 1 minute audition video where you forecast the weather from the comfort of your own home. Make sure you have an adult help you with this! Then, have a parent submit the audition video below.
One child is chosen each week from among online auditions. The segments air Wednesdays on FOX13 News at 5pm, and will be available to watch anytime on MyFoxMemphis.com.
