Happy Passover!  Since today is the first day of Passover, I thought I'd share a recipe that fits with Passover customs.  This recipe came from food.com and got many good review.

Passover Cookies

  • 1 1/2 cups matzo meal
  • 1 1/2 cups matzo farfel
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil

  • Mix together the first 7 ingredients.
Add the eggs and oil and mix together well.
The dough will seem dry and crumbly, but it will hold together when cooked.
Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet. Press lightly to hold together, if necessary.
    Bake @ 350° for 15 minutes.
