Vatterott's Salon Cosmetique Review

I was conflicted as to whether or not I should share pics of my Barney Rubble feet with the world, but alas it is only fair to show you the pretty nails I got with my mani/pedi yesterday at Vatterott Beauty School's Salon Cosmetique.

Throughout February Vatterott is offering a special deal:  New You for Two!  This deal is for two people, it costs $35, and both people get a manicure + pedicure + facial.  The total comes to $17.50 per person, and each person gets all three services!
Ms. Kimberly Greer, the program director, was kind enough to give me this deal completely FREE so I could tell our MMM readers what to expect.  I took my 16 year old daughter, Brooke, with me.  The location we went to was close to Belleview Church.  The address is 6991 Appling Farms Parkway, Memphis TN 38133.  The phone number is 372-2399 and/or 654-0000.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the lavish treatment, and our cosmetologists were super friendly and fun to talk to!  We began with our manicures, and then the pedicures - both come with a mini massage.  We ended with our facials, which are about 45 minutes long (I fell asleep!!).  The entire process from start to finish was roughly 3.5 hours.
All in all, I really liked the experience.  The only drawbacks was the loud music in the background, which took away from the relaxing experience, and the constant chattering of the students as they conversed with one another.  Keeping in mind that it is a student environment, and the price is AMAZINGLY low I would give the experience a 8 out of 10.

One thing to keep in mind is that the students do accept tips - but they ONLY take cash for tips.  You can pay with a credit card, but you cannot add a tip to it.  Click here to visit our link with the original post about this deal.
