Asking for a $5.00 Donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital

Tomorrow is exactly one month from the St. Jude Marathon weekend!! As most of you know I signed up as a Hero runner which means I am committed to raising $500, I set my goal at 750 and they were wanting the $500 reached by tomorrow, I GREATLY APPRECIATE those of you have given! Thank you so much I am only at $200 so I need $300 more by tomorrow!  Ideally I would like to get to $750.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider a ONE TIME ONLY donation of $5. With over 4,000 facebook fans I thought it would be easy to raise the $500 and I know with the tough economic times we are all facing it is hard to donate. I also know I am bad about asking so I am going to emphasize this as much as I can today and see if I can reach at least the $500 by today. I know I can do it with your help! Charity Races In the Mid-South

I am getting a lot of e-mails/comments on my facebook and in conversations, people are sharing with me info on up-coming races for November and December! There is a HUGE running community here in the Mid-South and tons of charity races to participate in or support!

There are several Memphis Mommy readers who are organizing or very involved to races and events that support causes near to their heart. I WOULD LOVE TO PROMOTE YOUR CHARITY RACE and tell your story of why you are involved in any Mid-South event.  Please e-mail your event info to mymemphismommy@gmail.com with RACE INFO in the subject line.
