Walmart Layaway Starts Today Ocotber 17th

Many of you are super excited about Walmart bringing back Layaway so I wanted to do a post on their layaway info:

I am curious of how many of you are planning to use Walmart Layaway leave a comment. Honestly I am pretty much done with my shopping so I will not be using layaway. Walmart Layaway starts today October 17th!!!

Holiday Shopping is Easier with Christmas Layaway
To help families deliver a Christmas to remember, this year Walmart is offering a Christmas layaway program for electronics and toys. Available at all stores nationwide beginning today Oct. 17 running through Dec. 16, the program will be available on eligible toy and electronic gifts with a retail price of $15 or more*, including dozens of additional popular toys on Rollback to $15, such as Leapfrog Scribble and Write, Disney Princess Toddler Dolls, Transformers 3 Mechtech and select Lego playsets.

* In order to participate, each item must have a price of $15 or more, customers must have a total minimum layaway purchase of $50, make a 10% down payment on the total purchase, and pay a one-time non-refundable $5 service fee. Items put on layaway must be paid in full and picked up on or before Dec. 16. There is a $10 cancellation fee for any orders not picked up by that date or cancelled by the customer. Cancellation fees and service fees may vary by state. Contract wireless phones are not eligible for the layaway program.

Where is this?

in The conference room at the Cordova library, the library opens at exactly 10:00 so no need to arrive early.

Can kids attend?

YES, please plan to watch them and their sweet little crumbs ;0) I will provide blocks!


Do I have to come right at 10 a.m. or stay the whole time?

NO THIS IS AN OPEN TO ANYBODY to drop in or stay the whole time event!!!


How many coupons do I need to bring?

ACTUALLY NONE, if you don't have any, no worries, we will have plenty!! If you bring coupons there is no need to have them cut or sorted.


So how exactly does this work?

I will have about 30 numbered folders, if you have any coupons you are not using, simply put them in a folder, we sit at tables and pass the folders around and you take what you want!! No need to cut or sort your unwanted coupons.


Anything else I can bring to swap?

Yes you can bring coupons city books or books themselves.

What else should I bring?

You can bring your coupon folder/book etc. if you like and we can look at how different people organize coupons. You can bring scissors, I will have some as well!

EXPIRED COUPONS FOR THE MILITARY

If you have expired coupons that you have cut from the paper (not printables). You may give those to Janiece and she is happy to send them to OVER SEAS bases. She asks that:

You cut them, and separate them between household and grocery.

Only up to month old please!

Can I bring food/snacks?

NOTE: Please do plan to watch your kiddos carefully as the library has no vacuum, I may bring a picnic blanket for them, or if someone has a small hand vac they can bring please let me know!!
If people are able/willing to bring things like that it totally helps our kiddos (and us ;0) to stay occupied ;0)

Kroger's cartbuster deal of the day runs until October 25th! Each day they will offer a high value digital coupon you can load to your Kroger card. Remember you cannot stack these coupons and they do not double and you only get that savings off one product once only.
