Print a copy of Target's Official Coupon Policy to take with you in case you experience any trouble at your store. This doesn't happen to me often at our local stores, but others have run into problems with using coupons at Target.

"Shana Shares on Sunday": Time Is Precious

I have decided to start doing a Sunday Reflection Piece that I will call "Shana Shares on Sunday". This piece may contain personal beliefs, it may not, so if you have no desire to read of anything that might reflect belief, I suggest you skip this weekly post ;0)  I really have no agenda of what it will contain except for giving me a small "writing outlet" and a chance to share reflections that I have with you. More than likely I will have written these way before Sunday and just have it scheduled to appear on Sunday. Let me know what you think ;0)


My favorite book of the Bible is Ecclesiastes, has been since I was 8 years old. In fact, as a young girl I always said if I had a daughter I would name her Ecclesiastes, thankfully despite having 3 girls I did see the "wisdom" in choosing other names ;0)

This book of the Bible has always spoken to me along the varying paths of my life journey.  Especially now Chapter 3 verse 1 really shouts at me in my head and in my heart:
"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven" (NIV)


If I were to re-write the verses that follow it would contain things like:

"A time for sleepless nights, and a time to sleep till noon"

"A time of too much noise, and a time of sad silence" (oh yes we know the empty nest will come all too soon)

" A time where it feels like there is no time left, and a time where empty time will fill my days"

While I do deeply value sleep, I am also finding it is nice to be awake in the middle of the night to think about and reflect on things. A new baby certainly makes me stop and evaluate what is important.
Spending time growing closer to God and closer to my family is of top importance. How I use the resources He provides to me (including my time) is super important as well.

So how do I have time to "do it all?" is a question I am asked alot. The honest answer. "I don't". I make lists and prioritize and often things do not get done and that is o.k. I cannot, will not get every great deal I tell you about and that is o.k.  I will have to continue to send my husband out still to get "deals" and he will pay full price for things and I will get over it ;0)

I have changed how I organize my weekly shopping as it SAVES all of us time!! We will do a video on it soon and show you what is working for us. I find there are so many deals, that I need to write each of them down right as I see them (and separate the coupons and stores by folder right as I find them) or I will completely forget about it an then when I have a quick moment to run to the store, the last thing I want to do is go and look up all the stuff, rather I grab the "Target file" and I am ready to roll!"

Can't wait to share this with you, and would love to hear other TIME SAVING TIPS you have that you are willing to share.

Let me end with this, I want to save time and help you save time when it comes to finding deals and saving money. I want to not waste time doing things that don't matter in the grand scheme of things. So I can "spend" time doing nothing but gazing at the sweet, squirmy bundle in my arms and enjoying the sweet sounds of my 2 girls and watching their puppet shows and the many other entertainments they come up with on a daily basis ;0).
