My kids are always excited about their birthdays but this year they were over the moon with excitement. I think my 6 year old put it best as her friends arrived she told them "a real live scientist is coming to my house."

This is how it works
Mad Science will come to the location of your choice for 60-90 minutes depending on the package you choose. We started our party an hour before they arrived and did pizza, cake, and presents and then they came and I got to sit, relax and enjoy. They brought EVERYTHING, all I had to do is provide a table and space, SO EASY and so much fun! This was our best party by far! Not only did the kids love it, but the parents did as well. It was so cool to have fun and educational experience with our friends in our home. The kids were mesmerized the entire time! Mad Scientist Stacey (owner of
Mad Science Mid-South) did a great job of emphasizing safety and was incredibly patient with the kids and let each of them experience everything. The birthday girl was always given the first opportunity to do the experiment and she felt very special.
There are several different
party pacakges to chose from which includes the following:
Eath Package
Space Package
Spy Packae
Stars Package
Moon Package
As a part of the Moon party package we were able to chose an ad-on to the birthday party. We could choose between the science of cotton candy, rocket launch (birthday kid would get to keep the rocket at the end and decorate it) or dry ice experiments. We chose dry ice. I think this was Ruthanne's favorite part!
At the end each child was able to pick a color of their choosing and make their own goo to take home.
I would highly recommend this if you have a child over the age of 5. We also had a "big sister" of one of the friends who is 10 and she loved it! If you get tired of the same boring birthday things and want to have a unique party that you can learn from and will have your kids and friends talking for a long time I highly recommend
Mad Science.
