FELICITY DVD GIVEAWAY

My girls are ages 5 and 3 so when I was sent a copy of the American Girl movie Felicity on DVD this was their first exposure to American Girl. THEY LOVED THIS FILM. My three year old loved it as much if not more than my 5 year old as she is really into horses. We are just starting to let them watch non-animated films and this was truly a wonderful one that opened up alot of dialogue about kindness and obedience and love. Getting the Most out of FREE ITEM COUPONS

It seems pretty obvious if you receive a free item coupon for liking the product on facebook or on a company website ( One Beyond Coupon this was a facebook one(no longer available but you can print off a $2.00 coupon), and then Walmart offered to the first 50,000 a FREE Chef Boyardee coupon (also no longer available but just wanted to show I posted on both these offers.)

So does it seem like a no brainer to just use them on the product and get a free product? Did you know you can do better than just getting ONE PRODUCT FREE, if you wait for sales ;0)

I look at the expiration date on the FREE PRODUCT CUPON and I wait and wait to see if I can get a better deal! I didn't have to wait long on these TWO coupons. CVS has the Chef Boyardee on sale for BUY ONE GET ONE FREE so I got 2 FREE! And I found a ONE Beyond TARGET store coupon for $2.00 off (still available so stack it with the facebook coupon.) which stacked with my free coupon, so yes that is like getting paid $2.00 for buying the dog food which if you don't have a dog you could donate!! You must have another item for the $2.00 to come off of as they are not going to hand you $2.00!

Our New Connections: Historic Black Memphis exhibit is now open, and features artifacts spanning the history of African-American culture in Memphis. With pieces dating as far back as the first decades of our river city, this exhibit examines the roles African Americans played in the evolution of our community.

Saturday March 12, George Washington Carver* opens. This traveling exhibit brings to life the groundbreaking work done by Dr. Carver during his career as an educator, innovator and agricultural game-changer.

Memphis is aglow with vibrant botanicals in the spring, and a visit to Lichterman Nature Center this time of year is a special treat. With acres of native plant species, glimpses of native animals, miles of trails and boardwalks, and a beautiful natural lake, visitors can commune with nature without leaving the city limits.

WALMART STORE POLICY

It looks like Walmart has a new coupon policy. I am SUPER EXCITED about this NEW POLICY I can't wait to try it at one of the more "coupon picky Walmart store" in Memphis! Here are some of the highlights:


They will gladly accept:
-Manufacture Coupons
-Print-at-home Internet coupons that are legible, have “Manufacturer Coupon”printed on them, have a valid remit address for the manufacturer, valid expiration date, and have a scannable bar code
-Competitors’ coupons that feature a specific item for a specified price, for example, $2.99
-Soft drink container caps
-Checkout coupons (also called “Catalinas”) that are printed at our competitors’ registers, have “Manufacturer Coupon” with specific requirements printed on them, a valid remit address for the manufacturer, valid expiration date, and a scannable bar code


Walmart will not accept the following:
-Print-at-home Internet coupons that require no purchase
-Competitors’ coupons for dollars/cents or percentage off, buy one get one free, and double- or triple-value coupons


Walmart's New Guidelines and Limitations:
-Only one coupon per item.
-Coupons must have an expiration date and be redeemed prior to expiration.
-Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.
-We only accept coupons for merchandise that we sell.
- Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase.
-We accept the following with Customer Service Supervisor/Management approval:
-40 or more coupons
-Any coupon over $20
-$50 or more in coupons in one transaction

I really hope that all Walmart's will follow the same rules. I always suggest to go to Walmart's Coupon Policy and print out a copy and take it with you in case of any problems. You can go here to read it or print it. This will be under the Walmart 101 section on my sidebar
