Kroger No Longer Doubling In Texas

How does Kroger no longer doubling in Texas affect Memphis? Well maybe it doesn't! We are in completely different regions however, I think the time is now to tell Kroger (if you are a crazy Kroger fan like me) how much you love shopping there and want their doubling of coupons to continue here in the Delta region. Not all of the Kroger stores nation wide double and my personal thought is that with the recent news of the 8 Schnucks stores here in the Mid-South becoming Kroger stores therefore leaving less competition and only Fred's who doubles on Sat. Kroger COULD then stop doubling unless we let them know we LOVE THEIR DOUBLING!!

SO here is a site I have found that is dedicated to trying to get Kroger to keep doubling and they have a ton of info you might find helpful.. Click here to get to the Bring Back Doubles site and let me know what your thoughts are on this!

Kroger stores in Jackson do not double coupons with the Do Not Double disclaimer on them anymore. I have also been told by at least two people that paper coupons will not work on items that Kroger has placed on sale, either!!! I've been told that the solution to this is to not give your Kroger card to the cashier until everything has been rung up and you've given your paper coupons. Then give your Kroger card, and you should get all coupons and discounts at that point. The only thing I don't like about that is that I can't price check anything while the clerk is scanning. It's so frustrating!! :(

Our North MS stores (Olive Branch and Southaven) don't allow you to hand your Kroger card last. They claim that it leads to coupon fraud.

I just used your link to email Kroger. I urged them not to cancel double coupons in the Memphis area because our families rely on this savings in order to make it through these tough economic times...
