You will enjoy all sorts of the sweetest and tastiest lettuces since… last season, including loose leaf and heirloom butterheads. Find arugula, mesclun mix, spinach, kale, sorrel, shiitake mushrooms, spring onions, chard, beets, bok choy, greens, radishes, cilantro bunches, mint sprigs and sweet potatoes. And…strawberries, yep, that’s right, Jones Orchard has strawberries ripening this week.
Look out for a tulip explosion according to Jill Forrester from Whitton Farms, along with many other cut flowers perfect for spring bouquets.
Find goat cheese, goat milk soap, honey, grits & polenta. With several vendors are selling farm fresh eggs this season, there shouldn’t be a shortage.
We will have baked goods galore, Black Angus beef, farm raised pork and certified organic meats of all kinds from West Wind Farms.
The MFM is proud to offer even more artisan items this season. hand thrown pottery, herb markers (perfect for kitchen gardens), hand-turned salad bowls, stepping stones, birdbaths and more.
