JCPenney and The Salvation Army have joined forces again this holiday season to spread cheer to even more children and seniors in need through the Angel Giving Tree online program. The online program builds on the legacy of The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree tradition that has been in operation for more than 40 years. Customers will be able to visit jcp.com/angel and participate in an online version of the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, allowing customers to purchase and donate toys, clothing and much-needed items for a child or senior citizen in need.JC Penney provided me with a $50 gift card to adopt my own angel! We love being able to help others. And it was amazing what I was able to get my angel! I loved that I could go on-line and select whatever age I wanted and could pick from any city nation wide, I chose Memphis! I did have problems finding items that would fit my child in stock on the site, so I did go to the JC Penney at Wolfchase Mall. I found the same items I wanted from on-line the only disadvantage is now I have to take it to the Salvation Army. If you order on-line you get free shipping to anywhere in the US and you can use a code for a percentage off!
Look what I got my angel, a great jacket, a shirt, pair of jeans and remote control monster truck!! All for $50!! I did use discount coupons and if you open a JC Penney card account you get an additional 20% off so the savings really can ad up! In order to ensure delivery by Christmas, adoptions and jcp.com orders must be made before Dec. 10, otherwise you have until Dec. 14 to purchase a JCPenney Gift Card. Do something this season to help others in need whether it is here in Memphis or around the country you can shop for them in the comfort of your own home and avoid the craziness of the mall this time of year.
