How Does Cashback and Rebates Work?

Over the past couple of days you may have notices me post Cash Back sites at the end of retail post.  If your not familiar with these sites you may want to get familiar with before you start your online shopping for the holidays!  I was introduced last year and it's very simple!  One of my favorite is Mr Rebates.

Most shopping I do is online.  I watch for great deals or free shipping offers and then head over to Mr Rebates and search on the top left hand side to see if the store I'm ordering from is a partner.  This is a great way to earn a little money back on your ordinary purchase.


Here is a example of how this works:
Create your account HERE and you'll receive $5 instantly.
Search Gander Mountain on the top left hand search bar
You'll see Gander Mountain and Discount Codes (click the Gander Mountain, above 3% Rebate)
You should be directed to Gander Mountain Home Page
Click the Outlet button on the far right

Here is what I just put in cart:
2-Women's UV Zip Tee $4.99 each
3-Women's V Neck Tee $4.99 each
1-Boys Water Trunk $8.99
2-Women's Roll Up Shorts $9.99 each (love)

Then I entered Promo Code: GMTN5 for $5 off, Free Shipping!  Total is $48.92 for all 8 items that are top quality!!!  Plus after it's booked and shipped you'll get a notification from Mr Rebates that it went through and $1.47 will show up in your Mr Rebates account, plus the $5 that you got for signing up.  So everytime you order something make sure to check your % back and you can cash your account out and receive a check!  Just like a rebate!
