Discover Sears’ Big Deals This Weekend/Giveaway


Sears has provided me 2 $25 Sears gift cards for writing this post, one for me to experience a different side of Sears and one for a reader to have their chance to experience a different side of Sears. The opinions expressed in this post are completely mine (Shana).


Sears is having a huge sale this weekend in celebration of Columbus Day! Sales are on-line and in stores this weekend! Just in time for Columbus Day, discover a new side of Sears, where discounts include: outerwear 50-60% off; jewelry 75% off; 40% off sheet sets. The sale started on Friday, 10/8 and ends on Tuesday, 10/12.

Shopping at Sears is a family tradition, this is where my grandfather always shopped for his appliances and outdoor stuff and we have purchased both a stove and a fridge from Sears in the last year. I also love shopping in their bedding, bath and housewares department, and of course clothing for me, the girls and the husband. When a representative asked me to do this promotional and in the name of exploration, discover a different side of Sears than I normally shop at I had to really think about it. At first thought I really was convinced I shop in all their departments, and then it hit me, JEWELRY. I definitely need some new ear rings and I haven't shopped for jewelry or accessories for myself in ages and with their being HUGE discounts this weekend woo-hoo!

    I would discover their housewares department. I love kitchen gadgets and accessories and have not shopped for them at sears in the past. If I won this gift card I would definitely check it out!!!

    I buy my three boys levis at sears. I have signed up with their kidvantage program. If their jeans get a hole in them or wear out before they outgrow them, sears will give me another pair in the same size. This is an awesome program. NG nadinegarwood(at)frontier(dot)com

    my hubby usually buys tools at Sears, he's a Craftsman fanatic. This GC would give me a chance to experience another side of Sears-women's clothing since that is something I usually don't purchase there.

    My husband is hard to buy for, but he does like Craftsman tools. My daughter loves the shoe department at Sears and my son buys t-shirts of his favorite sports teams. I seem to always find my winter coat at Sears every year. So, as you can see, our entire family loves Sears.

    You can buy surprisingly good clothes at Sears, which is what I normally do, but if I won, I would check out the housewares!

    I love shopping at Sears. I usually buy clothes for myself. But I would probably buy my little toddler some pajamas for the winter as the weather will be changing soon!! :)

    My dad has has always been a firm beliver in Sears. My whole family buys Kenamore applinces at Sears. You can't beat Kenamore applinces.

    My husband was just talking about needing to purchase something from their tools department. I think I would use the gift card for him! They really do have good tools and lawn equipment. We also bought a vacuum from there.

    Sears has great sales, and I usually shop in the women's department for dresses. My last purchase there was for a dress to wear to my son's wedding.

    I buy my small appliances there. I bought my son a radio there, and the extended warrenty with it. He broke it 3 times, and they replaced it each time.

    I love shopping at Sears! I think their kids club is a great program and I always do well shopping for clothing for myself. If I won this drawing, I would rediscover the shoe department as I desperately need a new pair of dress shoes for work! :)

    I normally shop for clothing for myself, my husband and my daughter. I also have purchased shoes for us there and appliances. If I won the $25 gift card I would put it toward a bedding set. I need a new one badly.

    I used to buy appliances from Sears. When I bought my new home,I bought a dishwasher and washer/dryer there. Their prices are very fair.
