Shana is on a quest to cut her costs even further and ease her mind of "what's for dinner". So I am sharing this journey with you guys on meal-planning for September. Would love to hear your feed-back, questions, ideas etc. Leave them here at this post or e-mail me shanathesavvyshopper@gmail.com

I have discovered a TON of on-line resources but don't want to over-whelm you so I will just give you the top 10! Here are resources that I have used for a long time and a few I just discovered in my search for FREE on-line meal planning resources:

1. Cooking For One
It is hard to just cook for one person, I find this site super helpful.

2. DIABETIC MEAL PLANNING

I do not have any diabetics in my family but occasionally will take a meal to someone who is, so this site is the first place I go!

3.HEALTHY/WHOLE FOOD COOKING
This site has videos (that are really funny) that step by step guide you in how to make healthy meals, and they list out the recipes too!

4.FREE TEMPLATES FOR MEAL PLANNING
This is crazy awesome, all of the templates are free and you can type into them. Extremely cool!

5.GOOD HOUSE KEEPING RECIPES
Good House Keeping is an aswesome magazine and awesome web-site too!

6.LOCAL MEMPHIS COOK BOOK AUTHOR
Just discovered this have not had a chance to try any of her recipes but LOOKS amazing! She just released a new cook book nation-wide, how cool is that!

7. ALL RECIPES.COM

I have used this site for years to find recipes, I love it!

8.EPICURIOUS.COM
This site is one for more difficult and fancier fare cooking, I love the stuff I have found on here and you can save all your recipes in your free account on-line.

9.DISNEY FAMILY RECIPES
This is a new site I have just started looking at and using, very creative and family friendly ideas.

10. COOKING WITH WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR PANTRY
O.K. I love this site, you can just list the ingredients you have in your pantry and it will pop up recipes that you can make!

Was this helpful? Please give us feedback!! What are your favorite sites that you use?

Were there any actual "meal plans" on the Diabetic Meal Planning site? I couldn't find anything.

So you have to click and sign up for a free on-line meal planning and you can get a free e-mail newsletter too which I find good recipe advice etc.
