By the end of the Memphis Zoo's fiscal year on June 27, the Zoo hopes to put Memphis on the map and welcome its millionth visitor – the second time the Zoo will have hit the milestone mark in its 104-year history.
Only a select number of zoos in the country boast one million visitors in a single year.

Beginning Saturday June 12

The Memphis Zoo will offer special perks for its members and visitors in celebration of attendance and to help achieve the one million-visitor goal.


June 12 to June 27

Zoo members will enjoy free, unlimited rides on all rides (excluding tram rides) as well as free bird feedings at the Birds and Bees exhibit.

Non-members and out-of-town guests can cash in on a variety of coupons that also offer discounted rates for admission:

* Mountain Dew Cans – Look for the pink Memphis Zoo label on Mountain Dew cans inside select refrigerator packs at local grocery stores for buy one, get one free coupons.

* Fred’s Stores Panda Pal Promotion – Purchase a Panda Pal for $1 at Fred’s and receive a coupon for $4 off general Zoo admission.

* Hard Rock Café Panda Pin – Purchase a Panda Pin at Hard Rock Café and receive a coupon for $3 off general Zoo admission.

* Graceland Map – Pick up a map at Graceland to find a coupon for $3 off Zoo admission.
