Opening Night Festivities - Friday, November 20
WMC-TV's Ron Childers will be joining us for the Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The event begins at 5:15 p.m. with a performance by 2008 National High

Stepping Champions, the Whitehaven High School Marching Band. Then,

countdown with Ron at 5:30 p.m. as we light the Great Poinsettia Tree at

the Zoo's Entrance.
giftbearThe first 250 kids to enter Zoo Lights on November

20 will receive a plush, holiday bear as a gift from

the Zoo. The gates open at 5:30, so arrive early for

the chance to get one of these gifts while supplies

last (plush height approximately 8").

Snowbird Tickets
Buy a ticket to SunTrust Zoo Lights and attend either November 20, 21,

27 or 28 and you'll receive a coupon good for a free daytime Zoo ticket

to use during general admission hours (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Use this "Snowbird

Ticket" between your Zoo Lights visit andFebruary 1, 2010.
