I have a Masters degree in business and currently am a stay at home mom. I am a proud mom of3 awesome little girls ages 6 (Ruthanne), 4 (Sophia), and 4 month old Tabitha. I also have 2 sweet dogs Truffles and Mocha and a loving husband Mark who has a cat Anastasia that I tolerate ;0)
We moved here to Memphis from CT where I was working, so we went from 2 incomes and 1 house payment to 1 income and 2 house payments (our house sold after 3/12 year in August 2011). I started getting VERY SERIOUS about cutting our spending and finding THE BEST DEALS IN MEMPHIS and pairing it with coupons. I love interacting with people and being active in our community. I love using my business knowledge to watch sales cycles and help you cut your OWN spending in a BIG WAY. I love finding great deals and sharing them daily on My Memphis Mommy!

My name is Dawn Curtis, and I’m blessed to be married to my husband, Brian. We have three children: Dylan is 20, Jesse is 18, and our daughter Brooke is 16. I grew up watching my grandma clip coupons, but I didn’t get into it until I moved from Illinois to Memphis a few years ago. I began following the “Bargain Thursday” episodes on My Fox Memphis, and one day they featured My Memphis Mommy. Everything I know about couponing I learned from My Memphis Mommy, and I’ve been using these new tools to increase my family savings as well as to teach friends and family how to coupon. In fact, my sister and I meet once a year in the Missouri or Illinois wine countries to tour wineries AND to share coupons!! Couponing is a hobby for me, but I also believe couponing is a way for me to be a good steward with what the Lord has blessed me with.
Although I love any and all deals I can find, my current focus is on things for my daughter. At 16 years old, she has a constantly growing list of wants (oh, I mean needs). She is in her second year of cosmetology at Cordova High School, which mirrors her interests and life goals. With that said, I’m always tracking down bargains for designer cosmetics, hair care products, and clothing.
